Class at North Park

Misty Pines Dog Park Company will be holding the August 19th Growl Class and All Levels Class in North Park at the Pie Traynor Field. Class will be meeting at the North Park Swimming Pool parking lot at 6:30 PM. Please bring all of your usual tools needed for class and be sure to have a treat bag filled with your dog’s most favorite treats. You may want to skip feeding your dog dinner this day to ensure you have your dog’s full attention. Please sign up and prepay in advance $14.

Dog Board and Train
Board and Train is a program designed to expedite your dog’s training for basic obedience, good manners, agility, socialization and for any specific goals you may have for your dog. While your dog is boarding with us you may schedule training sessions during their stay. Our certified professional trainers will work with your dog on any behaviors you would like such as walking nicely on leash, not jumping up, sit, down, stay, come, heel or any command or behavior you need extra help with. Training sessions during Board and Train are 30 minutes and you may schedule as many 30 minute sessions as you would like for your dog. At the end of their training sessions there will be a report card for your dog that you will receive when you pick up your dog from boarding. We recommend scheduling a private lesson when you pick up your dog or at another time shortly after their boarding stay. A private lesson provides you the chance to work with the trainers and help you utilize commands the same way they were used in the board and train program. You may schedule private lessons to progress the training that has been started and schedule follow up training the next time your dog boards with us.
Our Board and Train Program is a highly effective method of teaching good dog behavior, but in order to retain these good behaviors in the home environment, the owners must be part of the training process. Through private lessons or group class we can help you become a good leader, teacher and trainer, for your dog. "Dogs are only as good as their masters." Misty Pines dog training classes are designed to be user friendly. All dog training classes are on-going and run continuously throughout the year. You participate at your convenience, and pay for each class as you attend.
