Brett Reynolds
CPDT-KA, IACP
I have been passionate about animals all of my life. My path to a career in dogs began as a volunteer dog-walker at a local animal shelter. After some schooling and deciding that veterinary medicine wasn't what I wanted, I looked into dog behavior. I attended Triple Crown Academy for Professional Dog Trainers near Austin, Texas. This schooling gave me not only extensive knowledge on how dogs learn, but also valuable hands-on experience working with a variety dogs in a variety of specialty areas. I was trained in basic obedience, advanced obedience, competitive obedience, agility, tracking, search and rescue, scent detection and protection. Upon completion of the Canine Training & Behavior Specialist program in January of 2006, I started working at Misty Pines in February. In September of 2009 I became a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT). I am a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). My German Shepherd Yager and I have completed a title in Rally Obedience and are currently pursuing Agility and Obedience competition. At Misty Pines I instruct group classes, private lessons, and train dogs here for Boot Camp.
